Your headline reminds of a satire piece Rush Limbaugh did a few months back. Based on the decreasing amount of sunlight scientists were measuring each day, computer models were predicting around-the-clock darkness as early as June. To add weight to the dire forecast, Limbaugh noted such ominous developments as dropping temperatures, vegetation refusing to grow, trees losing all their leaves, and huge animal migrations out of the area.

And the Demos use to accuse the Repubs of using scare tactics. My favorite word art lately is “create or SAVE 10 million jobs.” How do you quantify saving a job? They are so desperate not to fail they are making stuff up now.

I cracked up at her comment, too. I was thinking, hey, 500 million jobs a month?? That’s ALL of working America in just 4 weeks. The media should’ve been all over her for that lie. Or gaff. Or whatever it was … it was just WRONG.
How about we demand a moratorium on politicians saying anything for 4 weeks? They all need to keep their mouths shut and just do their freakin jobs before the rest of us really don’t have any jobs to do.
Not that I think government can fix everything … or anything, for that matter.

You know, my job required me to go to DC quite a bit. They’re pretty stupid. Like sack of rocks stupid. Not the regular rocks, either, but the really dumb ones. Pelosi has dethroned Costanza as Lord of the Idiots. Maybe she’ll get drug into the woods and eaten by wolves.

I hope that if she is drug into the woods and eaten by wolves, that a team takes care of removing any plastic or other non-degradables that may have been on her person at time of said drug event. We can’t shirk our responsibility to the environment, even at moments like this.
