• Sun’s out.  No worries, though; more rain this weekend.  Sigh.
• So the BCS title game is tonight.  I’m calling it the same way a lot of people are and saying it’ll be a shootout, but with a decisive margin.  That Oklahoma has gotten fat on Big 12 defenses is the critical factor.  Florida 41, Oklahoma 24
• Big porn is asking for a federal bailout.  Really.
• I’m putting Christmas back in the attic on Saturday after Nathan’s basketball game.  The goal is to first bring down an equivalent volume of get-rid-of-it, whether trash, donation, or eBay.  Wish me luck.
• Need something else to worry about?  Astronomers have detected a roar from distant space that is six times louder than they anticipated, and they don’t know what it is.
• What is bumburbia?
• You know how anyone can edit Wikipedia?  Check out these five pages on celebrities clearly (and hilariously) edited by themselves.  (Et tu, Paul?)
• I told Saintseester earlier this week that when it came to life in general and the way I try to do things, I was overtalking and underwalking.  If that’s you too, knock it off.  Analysis is well and good, but the point at which there’s nothing more to understand does arrive.
