Did Hillary Clinton’s attack ad deliberately darken Barack Obama’s skin?

A Clinton ad appears to show Obama with darker-than-normal skin tone.

The proverbial speculation on the proverbial internets that Hillary’s proverbial campaign proverbially did this on purpose is proverbially rampant.  You know, to make him look more sinister and stuff.  Or something.

AHA!  RACISM! 

I don’t know.  I think it’s a subtle difference at best.  What do you think?

The real image and story is here, and the difference looks to me to be well within normal variances of video production, lighting, and so forth.

Come on, folks.  Is this the level to which we’ve sunk?  Hillary appears to have won herself several more weeks last night.  From here, where is there to go by the end of April?  Are you going to be calling each other “doodyhead” or something?
