Just dropping a quick reminder that I’ll be completely offline Sunday, March 1.
I don’t know exactly how long it’s been since a day went by that I didn’t touch the Internet at all, but it might be a decade or longer.
“See” everybody Monday.

Hey man happy Sunday!
It’s snowing outside…where are you?
Are you ignoring me?
I can’t for the life of me figure out why you aren’t talking!
Fine man! That’s it…we’re not friends anymore!
Bravo! I lack your will power.
Charles, can we be friends six days a week until Easter?
Cajunvegan, it’s something. When I saw the snow yesterday morning, I popped right up to look at the radar online…uh, nope. I thought of Internet before I thought of caffeine.
I’m going to try to plan the day a little better next weekend. I made it without a slip yesterday, but I’m not proud of how much television I watched.
Looks like you were ahead of the curve Bo.

ROME – Roman Catholic bishops in Italy are urging the faithful to go on a high-tech fast for Lent, switching off modern appliances from cars to iPods and abstaining from surfing the Web or text messaging until Easter.
The suggestion goes far beyond no-meat Fridays, giving a modern twist to traditional forms of abstinence in the five-week period Christians set aside for fasting and prayer ahead of Easter.

Wow.
I wouldn’t even think about throwing it down for the whole period. I’d never make it. Sundays only are challenging enough.
